Overview
In this Privacy Policy, "we", "our", or "app" refer to the Angadi app (Angadi POS) developed and published by Tinisoft, and "the website" refers to tinisoft.in / tinisoft.com. Angadi is a billing, stock and reports app for shops on Android and Windows.
Angadi takes your privacy seriously. This document explains what the app stores, why, who can see it, and how to delete it.
Information We Collect
- Account details: your name and the email address or username you sign in with. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; nobody at Tinisoft can read them.
- Shop details: the shop name, phone number, address, GST number and receipt settings that the shop enters.
- Business records: bills and invoices (items, amounts, payment method, date and time, and which user made the bill), products and prices, stock, batches and serial numbers, purchases, vendors and expenses.
- Customer details the shop enters: a customer's name and phone number when the shop adds them to a bill.
- A device ID: a random identifier the app creates and saves with bills made offline, so the same bill is never uploaded twice. It is not linked to your phone's hardware or advertising IDs.
Angadi does not collect your location, contacts, photos, messages or microphone. The camera is used only to scan barcodes and serial numbers; images are not saved or uploaded. Bluetooth is used only to find and connect to your receipt printer.
How We Use It
- To let you sign in, and to keep your shop's data separate from other shops.
- To save bills on your device and sync them with the shop's other devices.
- To keep stock up to date and show sales, profit and expense reports.
- To print and share receipts and invoices.
- To manage the shop's subscription and give support.
We do not sell your data, show advertisements, or use your data for advertising.
Where It Is Stored
Bills are saved first on your device, so billing works without
internet, and are then uploaded to Tinisoft's Angadi servers
(https://api.angadi.app) over an encrypted connection.
Who Can See Your Data
- Within a shop: the shop owner and the users the shop adds, according to their role.
- Tinisoft: authorised staff can see shop and subscription details to provide support and activate subscriptions.
- Others: we share data only when the law requires it.
Keeping and Deleting Data
Shop data is kept while the shop's account is active. To delete your account or your shop's data, follow the steps on How to delete your Angadi account. We delete the account and its personal data within 30 days. We may keep records that the law requires us to retain, such as payment and GST invoice records.
Bills already saved on a device stay there until the app is uninstalled (Android) or its data folder is removed (Windows).
Children
Angadi is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 18.
Security
We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect your information. However, no system is completely immune to threats, and we recommend using a strong password and not sharing your login.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of November 3, 2026. If it changes, we will update the date above and show the new version in the app or on this website. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
